Delete your Dhobify account
You can request deletion of your Dhobify account and the personal data linked to it at any time. We process every request within 7 working days.
Please note: Dhobify is a marketplace and never collects, holds, or processes payments. Payments are made directly between you and your vendor via cash or UPI. We have no access to your bank accounts, UPI accounts, or payment methods, so there is nothing payment-related on our end to delete.
Option 1 — From inside the app
- Open the Dhobify app.
- Go to Profile → Settings.
- Tap Delete account and follow the prompts.
- You will receive an email confirming the request. The account is fully deleted within 7 working days.
Option 2 — By email
Email support@dhobify.app from the email or phone number associated with your account, with the subject line Account deletion request. Include:
- Your full name as registered in Dhobify
- The mobile number registered with Dhobify
- (Optional) The reason — this helps us improve the service
For security, we may ask you to verify your identity by responding from the registered number or replying to a verification SMS.

Within 7 working days of confirmed deletion we remove:
- Your name, phone number, and profile photo
- Your verification documents (Aadhaar photos, selfie)
- Your saved addresses, service area, prices, and UPI ID
- Your push notification token
- Direct messages and ticket conversations
What we keep, and for how long
Indian law requires us to retain certain records even after account deletion. We will keep them only as long as required and only to fulfil that legal obligation.

What if I have an active booking?
If you have an in-progress booking, please complete or cancel it before requesting deletion. Active bookings cannot be removed mid-flight.
Restoring a deleted account
For up to 7 days after we receive your request you can email us to cancel the deletion. After that the account is permanently removed and cannot be restored.
